Self care to give care
I was reminded today of the importance of
“self care to give care”.
As I do care a lot naturally as part of my personality and in my business as a holistic practitioner I have to be mindful to refuel myself. For me it’s going to a dance, yoga or Pilates class or spending time gardening or walking along the beach. We so often forget to make ourselves important and to protect a bit of time to reinvest in yourself without feeling guilty about it. Especially when you have younger children or elderly to care for. Yet especially then you need to self care to be able to give care with strength and love. May this be just an hour a day to do something that re energises yourself and reassures you ( body-mind-spirit) that you got your own back.
Regular self care strengthens the trust connection to yourself thus lowering stress levels and Cortisol levels investing in a healthy and happier you.
Merry Christmas to our Neighbourly community!
We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us this year, your trust, recommendations, and kind words truly mean a lot to our small local business.
Wishing you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with peace, good health, and joy. We look forward to helping our lovely community again in the new year
Kind regards,
Alex & Linda
