Taranaki Symphony Orchestra, Garden Treats, Tupare Gardens
The Taranaki Symphony Orchestra is holding it's annual fundraiser at the Tupare gardens this weekend. From 10.00am to 4pm on both Saturday 1 November and Sunday 2nd November. Entry is free, but teas, coffees and home baking is available throughout the day.
The weather forecast is great so come down and be entertained by many different groups of musicians playing all day and stroll around the beautiful gardens.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
