HomeBound is a love letter to the quiet constancy of home-familiar, yet touched by time. Returning after a long absence, I see it anew, as if the years have softened the edges while deepening its meaning.
The lemons ripening in my backyard, the rustling of trees in the afternoon breeze, the gentle rhythm of daily life-these simple moments, once overlooked, now feel luminous. They are both unchanged and transformed, bearing the quiet dignity of things that persist.
My work captures this delicate paradox: the way home remains, yet shifts in our absence. It is a meditation on memory, on the beauty of the ordinary, and on the ever-changing lens through which we see the places that shape us.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
