Granny flat/ single studio to rent

Jordan from The Gardens

Hi everyone!

My parents have a converted granny-flat/ single studio to rent out at their spacious Gardens home. They are a retired couple (barring a couple of small side hustles!) and have lived here at our family home for 45+ years.

The studio is the bottom storey of their home, blocked from the second storey and with its own ranch slider door entrance/ exit. The place is fully furnished and ready to live in - might just need to bring a couch and dining table. Bathroom and laundry room are seperate to the studio but are entirely your dedicated facilities.

The place boasts a long private driveway; away from the road, sprawling south eastern views, wide lawns and a pool to enjoy. Tenant/s must be reliable and respectful of the property.

$400 PW, water and electricity included.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
