NIGHT LIGHTS GARDEN WALK

Judy from Otaki District

THIS WEEKEND!
Come along TONIGHT (Frid 11th) & TOMORROW NIGHT (SAT 12th) for a magical walk through one of the most unique garden experiences you'll see!

Meadowcroft Garden (722 Otaki Gorge Road) will be open to the public from 7pm – last entry 9.30pm. $15pp and $5 for children under 12 years. (Cash only please).

Off road parking will be available

After fantastic feedback in 2024, Neil and Avis MacInnes are again opening their special garden at night. Discreet lighting brings the garden alive after dark and provides an opportunity to see another side of this unique garden - and to also raise funds for the Te Horo Hall renovations. The garden is usually only opened at night to friends and family, so this is a special opportunity, not to be missed.

Please note:
Due to water features and reduced lighting the garden is not suitable for young children, and no pets are allowed. Special care is required as there are steps, sloping pathways and ponds. Every effort has been made by the owners to ensure the garden and car parks safety. Both are entered at visitors own risk.

THANKYOU NEIL & AVIS - and the Mansell family for providing parking in their paddock! 🤩🤩

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

ACCOMMODATION REQUIRED

Gary from Waikanae

Our grandson (20) recently moved to Kapiti from Taranaki and is looking for accommodation. Anything considered.
He describes himself as clean and tidy, friendly but a bit reserved and quiet.
I would add trustworthy and family orientated.
