6 WEEK KITTEN
Yeterday driving along whitney and got to the traffic lights on Whitney & Tiverton Road. A lot of cars stopped and looking in the middle of the road. In the middle was a 6 week old kitten, all cars coming could see this cat. I ran in the middle of the road without looking and grabbed the kitten. I took it home and my son Jordan took it to the vet. It turned out it had a broken leg and broken him. My son signed it over to the vet. I hope the kitten is ok. I can only assume that someone threw the kitten out of their car window. A lot of people are cruel.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
