Change of Format for BPW Franklin Op shop ball

Virginia Warren from BPW Franklin Inc

BPW FRANKLIN FRIENDS AND PATRONS.
Due to lack of ticket sales for the Op Shop Ball there has had to be a change in format for BPW Franklin 40th Birthday Celebration. Patrons, instead, will enjoy a more modest Award presentation to notable local women at the buffet dinner.
With the change in format the ticket price for the dinner is $45 per person. BPW Franklin is still raising funds for the 2025 Bursary Award and there will be excellent raffle prizes on sale.

We are looking forward to seeing you on August 24th and would like patrons to confirm attendance by Saturday 17 August for catering purposes. Banking information for tickets or refunds will be sent out on receiving contact details from patrons. Please contact secretary@bpwfranklin.org.nz

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
