Embark on a creative journey with us to craft self-portraits that celebrate the diversity and beauty of women! Using acrylic paint and gold leaf on mini wooden panels (20x20cm), women participants of all skill levels are invited to join.
This workshop is designed to emphasize the joy of painting, self-expression, and creativity. No previous experience is required. Our goal is not to produce typical selfie-portraits but rather to create unique representations, capturing the distinctive stories of each woman.
These mini-panels will become part of a larger composition featuring 40 self-portraits, showcased in the upcoming exhibition 'Wildeye: A Female Gaze into Nature' by the artist Robbi Carvalho. The exhibition will take place at the Franklin Arts Center from 13 April to 25 May. Rest assured, after the exhibition, each participant will receive their mini-panel."
