Accommodation Reqd - one room for quiet Retired Lady
Hi everyone, I have a friend who has come up from the South Island to live to be closer to young family here - and so isn't on this local chat yet. Here is her request.
"Retired fit lady with lovely cat (happy indoors or out) seeks a Room, Sleepout or Studio in Raumati, Paraparaumu or Paekakariki to rent/board in. No vehicle, avid walker. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
