Veggie Plants Waikanae and Otaki Markets This Weekend

Val from Otaki District

Weather not looking great for Waikanae on Saturday but the plants won't wait so we'll be there if there is any chance of some fine spells.
Some lovely young tomato plants including some that sold out earlier such as Isle of Capri, Indigo Rose, Roma, Early Girl, Grosse Lisse, Red and Yellow Pear and Black Krim.
Also Basil, Dwarf and Climbing Beans, Capsicum, Chillies and Cucumber. Limited supply of Kumara.
Last chance for Zucchini before the new year.
If the weather is against us this weekend, you can contact me on 027 220 1355.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
