Janet Muggeridge, Ross Halliday lunchtime concert, Wed 18th Oct.

Chris from Lynmouth - Moturoa

The last lunchtime concert of 26 of this winter's series features a well known duo of Janet Muggeridge (Vocal) and Ross Halliday (Vocal & Guitar). Janet and Ross combined forces several years ago to play at the Taranaki farmers' market every Sunday morning as well as playing at cafes, parties and weddings. They perform a delightfully eclectic range of songs including originals, folk, americana and kiwi numbers. The songs feature Ross's beautiful fluid electric guitar and Janet's rich vocals. The concert is at the Methodist Centre (Whiteley Memorial Church), Wednesday 18th October at 12.15pm.
Koha appreciated which will go to the Taranaki Retreat.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
