Cooking demonstration with Thermomix
Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tracy and I've been living in Northwood for the past 12 years.
I'm a Thermomix consultant and would love to show you what we have to offer. If you haven't heard of Thermomix before, it is a smart cooking appliance that provides guided cooking - it is so simple to use and results in amazing meals and baking.
Thermomix has thousands of recipes on its recipe platform and also caters for those who need to work around dietary and allergy requirements when cooking. It offers over 20 different cooking functions. The Thermomix will save you lots of time and energy and is a real game changer, making time in the kitchen fun! ✨️
Would you like to find out more? Host a Thermomix cooking experience with me in our Northwood demo kitchen between now and the 5th of September for your chance to win the new Kobold VK7 2-in-1 vacuum cleaning system valued at $2,399! There are 5 to be won. We also currently offer a gift with purchase worth $289.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
