We had another interesting meeting last week; it gave us a chance to update the mtg. on how to take your disputed Valuations to the next level ie the Land Valuation Tribunal... If you don't agree with the Values that either QV or NPDC or TRC have given you, you can take your papers straight to the CourtHouse in N.P. Ask for a FEE WAIVER APPLICATION, this will give everyone who is on a Benefit or NZ Super, no need to pay the $90 Filing Fee OR the $900 Hearing Fee! You will not hear this from QV or NPDC or TRC! As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
