Community meeting | New Ōtaki Reservoir
Kia ora Ōtaki, come along to our community meeting for the new Ōtaki Reservoir this Wednesday, 6.30pm at Waitohu School Hall, Ōtaki.
During the meeting, we'll be discussing the outcome of our investigation into the relocation of the reservoir on its site. We have taken several factors into consideration to ensure the best optimal position for the reservoir including:
✅ minimising the visual impact of the reservoir
✅ keeping the reservoir and associated infrastructure within property boundaries
✅ considering the height and slope behind the reservoir
✅ assessing the impact of the development
✅ potential effects on the access track to the reservoir.
