Morag from Morag Stokes Art Studio

Hi - I’m a Scottish Kiwi painter and work as an Artist Educator with GOLDEN Artist Colors, a top brand of acrylic paints and products. My Waikanae studio is full of all the latest in acrylic and watercolour products for use by people who attend my classes. I run a programme of well structured, topic-based classes and workshops for a wide range of abilities, from beginner to experienced artist. I also offer Artist Session groups (3 hours on Tuesday mornings) for people who have sufficient experience to initiate their own projects and work in a more experimental, less structured way, with material support and tuition. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
