Mahler’s 'Fourth Symphony' is built around a single song describing a child’s vision of heaven, beautifully sung by Lyric Soprano Anna Leese. Anna will also charm us with six of Strauss’s most beloved Orchestral Songs, including 'Morgen!' - written as a wedding present for his wife. Opening the evening, Mozart’s thrilling 'Overture to Il Seraglio', performed by the Manukau Symphony Orchestra.
