Coastal Advisory Panel - Northern adaptation area survey

The Team from Kāpiti Coast District Council

Kōrero mai | Have your say and tell us more about your coast. Get your feedback in by Sunday 2 April – haveyoursay.kapiticoast.govt.nz/coastal

At our Coastal Advisory Panel community engagement meetings, it's clear you care about the coast and love living in Ōtaki, Te Horo and Peka Peka. If you missed meeting the panel last time, here's another chance to tell them what you value. Your views will help us as we start looking at options for adapting to coastal erosion and inundation due to climate change for this area. We're starting on this soon and will meet with the community again for your final feedback later in the year.

For more ways to Have Your Say by Sunday 2 April:

🌊 drop a note in the feedback box at Ōtaki Library

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
