On December 8th I am running a World Cup Tournament at Parrs Park. We do this every four years in conjunction with FIFA tournament. 4 West Auckland primary schools will take part and will contribute teams representing the 32 countries taking part in the FIFA event. It's a privilege to offer this opportunity to the schools and the participating children

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
