Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?

Margaret Jane from Mount Wellington

Hello fellow power users
I am expecting you have noticed your power bills rising dramatically.
Do you know that the government has sanctioned the removal by the power companies of the Low User charges as it was seen to be unfair to high users? . This decision mostly affected the elderly the one person home and the conservative people.
This is in a time when NZ is having trouble generating power and is running out of gas. There is no incentive to save power.
Recently the power has gone up twice and mostly in the daily rate which means no matter how long you sit under a blanket to keep warm and try to reduce the bill, you will not change the result.
Please consider contacting your local MP or party leaders of our current government asking them to get these charges in oder. They tell us Power and Rates are causing the highest effect on our raised inflation.
As it is election year this is the best time to affect a reaction by Govt to a very serious topic.
Winter will be here soon to remind you.
