The Kitchen Assistant role is hard physical work –applicants need to be fit, strong and reliable.

The permanent role is 4 days each fortnight (32 hours). The hours are usually 7.00am to 3.30pm The week one roster is Friday and the week two roster is Monday, Saturday and Sunday.

The casual position is similar 8 hour shifts any day covering sick or annual leave for staff. Typical hours for the kitchen assistant role are 7.00am – 3.30pm and 11.00am – 7.30pm.

Street Appeal: Support Mary Potter Hospice!

Help us be there for patients and their whānau when and where they need hospice care.

Please support Mary Potter Hospice's Appeal this May. On Thursday 16 and Saturday 18 May there'll be close to a thousand volunteers wearing Mary Potter Hospice bibs and holding collection buckets across the streets of Wellington, Porirua, and Kāpiti.
