Autumn Fun at the Village!
Autumn Family Fun at the Village! Come along to our school holiday event running from 18th April - 30th April!
Experience Autumn at the village! Try our outdoor discovery trail and learn about some of the trees in the gardens that have recently lost their leaves in activities and crafts. The following activities are also on the programme:
· Feed the Chooks: everyday at 10:45am
· Butter Making: Tuesdays 19 & 26 April and Fridays 22 & 29 April 10:30-3pm
· Acorn crafts: Saturdays and Sundays at 11am-12:30.
With plenty of room for distancing in the outdoor setting, bring a picnic or pick-up something from the Homestead Café and make a day of it! Explore the heritage buildings and learn about the lives of early Auckland settlers.
Admission: adult $16, child $8, child under 5 free, senior/student $12, family $40. No bookings required!
Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?
The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.
Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.
We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
-
9.5% For. Self-service is less frustrating and convenient.
-
43.4% I want to be able to choose.
-
47.1% Against. I want to deal with people.
