Summer Fun at the Village!
Step back in time and soak up summer's beauty in the Village gardens, blooming with cottage flowers! With plenty of room for distancing in the idyllic outdoor setting, make a day of it. Bring a picnic or pick-up something from the Homestead Café. Explore the heritage buildings and learn about the lives of early Auckland settlers.
There was always work to be done! Help the Villagers with their chores at the following times in February :
· Feed the Chooks 10:45
· Butter making Wednesdays 11am
· Wash Day Sundays 11am
With outdoor games and crafts everyday!
Admission: adult $16, child (over 5) $8, child (under 5) free, senior/student $12. OR receive 30-50% off vouchers on Bookme (www.bookme.co.nz) as part of Auckland Unlimited's 'Reactivate Tāmaki Makaurau' (www.aucklandnz.com...)
No booking required but activities (except for chicken feeding) are limited to 15 participants. Free but donations are welcome, or support us through gift shop purchases.
Edmund Hillary Retirement Village Xmas Market
We are having our legendary Xmas Market again this year on Wednesday 27th November 2024, 10.00am-2.00pm at our village , 221 Abbotts Way, Remuera. Lots of great stalls with a wide variety of things to purchase. All welcome to come along to our Atrium here at the village and do some shopping.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
