Viola from Taupo Central

Good morning everyone,

Baking Friday is approaching fast - I am baking again. Better put your order through for your handcrafted artisan German bread. No preservatives, added sugars or additives are used in my loaves (apart from the fruit loaf which contains brown sugar).

Choose from a variety of 9 different loaves, all of them are dairy-free and vegan, some are gluten-friendly but all of them are healthy-as!
Choose a sweet loaf, choose a seedy loaf, choose a sourdough savoury loaf or go for the gluten-friendly options. Contact me for detailed options and prices. Prices start from $8.50/loaf.
Order by latest Thursday, 27th Jan, 4pm - do it by either text or call 021 0252 1343.
I take cash on delivery, delivery is included in the price and I deliver straight after baking Friday morning.
Have a great week!

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

While things are looking calmer in the days ahead, there are still plenty of slips and flooded roads across the district — so if you’re heading out, take it easy and stay alert.

We want to know: How did you and your whānau get on over the weekend?
