SNIP ‘N’ CHIP IS COMING TO WAIHI!

The Team from

We are excited to launch our desexing and microchipping campaign, this time in WAIHI!

From Monday 5 July, we are working with Waihi Vet Services to offer heavily discounted desexing and microchipping for cat owners in Waihi. For a limited time, cat owners with a Community Services Card can Snip ‘n’ Chip their cat for $10.

Help us give your pet a better life. Drop into Waihi Vet Services - based at 40 Kenny St - to secure your Snip ‘n’ Chip booking! You will need to bring your Community Services Card, as well as a valid form of photo ID. At the time of booking, you will be advised of the next available desex appointment date to book your cat in, and the Waihi Vet Services team will be able to answer any questions you may have about the procedure.

There are LIMITED numbers available this month so GET IN QUICK.

Please note: Snip ‘n’ Chip appointments can ONLY be secured by visiting Waihi Vet Services - who are based at 40 Kenny St - not by calling us or messaging us on Facebook.

We want to say a big thank you to JB and the team at Waihi Vets for supporting this desexing campaign – they’ve made a huge difference for animal welfare in Waihi!

IMPORTANT NOTE: For this campaign, there is a limit of two cats per household. The Community Services Cardholder also must be the cat owner.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
