The annual Cambridge East PTA quiz night is happening on Saturday June 26th from 7-10pm. This is a fabulous night out and has a
direct benefit to our tamariki at the school. If you would like a fun night out, grab a group and book a table for the evening NOW – you don’t want
to miss out!! Please join with us to fundraise for the learners at Cambridge East. There are MANY amazing businesses who have donated prizes, raffle draws and even silent auction. Even if your not associated with the school we welcome the community. The evening is themed as Hollywood with an option to dress up - but NOT compulsary. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
