Recommendation
Like to treat yourself occasionally? I recommend Kapiti Cakes at Coastlands. In the lane that goes through to Kapiti Lights, they are really good. Their coffee is great, a decent sized cup and full of flavor. The cakes are all delicious, and range from downright decadent to scones and muffins. Their cream donuts are to die for, fresh and not too sugary. If you have an occasion to celebrate, they have a selection of gorgeous gateaux. The staff are friendly, service is excellent and the shop is always spotless. One of the best coffee shops i have been to.
Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
