Wanted – Free Badminton Rackets

Sergiy from Waikanae Beach

Hello Kapiti Community
Our shared kids rackets are in some need of repairs and replacement. If you have a badminton racket that is no longer being used and would like to give it a new life by donating it to Waikanae Junior Badminton Club we would be grateful and happy to receive. The donated racket will be used by kids who are wanting to try this fun sport but do not yet have a racket of their own, working condition rackets from anyone willing to help would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me or alternatively the rackets can be dropped of to Waikanae Memorial Hall on any Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm. Thank you for your support
Junior kids coach.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
