Instruments needed
Hi everyone, I run a community ensemble up in Northland, and I would like to know if there is anyone here with an old, unused instrument (like trumpets/violins/etc) at home that they would like to donate to the Kaipara Ensemble. We are also in need of a snare drum. We have several students who does not have the money for a new instrument and is missing out on the opportunity to learn because of this. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
