Devonshire Tea on Monday the 8th of March
The Upper Hutt Women's Centre is organising a Devonshire Tea to celebrate International Women's Day on Monday the 8th of March. Come along to the Cossie Club anytime between 9.30 and 11.30am to enjoy some absolutely delicious freshly baked scones, jam and whipped cream served with tea and coffee. Absolutely everyone is welcome (men, women and children). Tickets are $7.50 each - just email the centre or pop us a message on Facebook if you would like to come along. We will have lucky ticket draws and raffles too.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
