General Election 2020 Candidates Debates?

Heather from Westown

Does anyone know of any 2020 Candidates Debates in New Plymouth, which are aimed at a General Audience of ALL ages, ALL Income Groups, and ALL Occupations etc. happening in the next week or two? Because I for one, have not managed to meet/see any Candidates so far! Nor hear any of their views, policies, messages etc. - Who are these people? Last time in 2017, our 'Daily News', held a well-attended Debate in the Civic Chamber, with the Editor as the M.C.... I was there and it was good. Where is our 'Paper' this year? They keep asking us for our Finances during Covid, but where is their Support NOW when WE NEED IT?

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
