TAPAC Spring Into Action Holiday Programme (ages 5-7)

Cinna Smith from TAPAC The Auckland Performing Arts Centre

Enter a magical world of drama and dress-ups! Children will improve their confidence as they learn acting, public speaking and social skills...

Through drama, movement, improvisation and voice, children will develop their dance, acting and speaking skills and be involved in a host of spring-themed activities to promote problem-solving, participation and imagination.

Children will use their voices, enjoy music and dancing (building rhythm, musicality, following, balance and co-ordination). They will also use role-play and storytelling to build an imaginary spring fantasy-land!

Children will work towards a performance on the final day, which parents are welcome to attend.

5-6 October
9am-3pm
$120 for 2 days
For ages 5-7

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
