Dogs roaming - Barrack Road
Does anybody have dogs missing around Barrack Road? I have just encountered two. One seemed an older (type unknown) with a lot of brown fur, collar and registered. He had a friendly encounter with my dog then crossed the road to the side of the shops. The next dog was a bit further up and had been into a rubbish bag sitting on the kerbside. He was black with a bit of white and I think a bit of brown. He also crossed the road to play with my dog. At this time a car coming down Barrack Road stopped suddenly in the middle of the road and enticed that dog into his car, reg no YJ9945. I don't think this dog had a collar on and he got willingly into the car. Just putting it out there so if anyone has a beloved pet missing they have a starting point. Unfortunately I can't tell you what the breeds of these dogs were, but the second one was short haired and the first one long haired. I hope this helps someone.,

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑
Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.
