MAHARA MIDWEEK MARKET
Great news - our market will be operating again this coming Tuesday (and hopefully for a few more weeks after that). We are making the most of the fabulous weather we are having and have permission from KCDC to open again, as long as we are following all the Covid-19 regulations. Please be aware that if you come and visit us, you will need to fill in a contact tracing register and maintain at least a one metre distance from stallholders and other customers. Our hours are from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday :-)
Confirmed stallholders are fruit and veges (Robyn and Tyrone), Red Van Plants, Coles honey, Sunset Crafts (face masks, scarves, bags), avocados, Rawleighs and others.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
