Raising the bar is back! - virtually this year, from 20th May - they provide the experts, you provide the drinks!
Over six weeks, six University of Auckland academics will present updated versions of their popular Raising the Bar presentations as virtual events. As well as hearing about their latest research, there'll also be the opportunity to ask the experts a question or two.
Live overseas? No problem. each talk is being run at two different time slots - 8AM NZT and 8PM NZT - so that you can take part no matter where you are in the world.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
