18 job losses confirmed at Hanmer Springs Pools and Spa complex
Eighteen of Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa's 120 staff will lose their jobs as the North Canterbury town deals with the economic fallout from Covid-19.
Staff were told of the proposal to cut jobs last week, with general manager Graeme Abbot warning about 20 per cent of staff would be affected.
On Monday, the company confirmed 18 staff would lose their jobs under the planned restructure.
