Relay for Life, raising money for the Cancer Foundation - Fun girls dance class this weekend!!!!

Tavia from Sandringham

** In order to raise money for this cause, my daughter and her friends are taking a FUN JAZZ DANCE CLASS for 8-11 year old GIRLS, in Mount Roskill this weekend!! $5.00 plus donations welcomed, limited spaces available.

Please text 021 2116284 to reserve a space for this fun class, taken by three wonderful and talented 13 year olds with big hearts!

My gorgeous girl and her big 💖 would love some caring and sharing of her page too if anybody would like to help her achieve her fundraising goals 😍

"Every day 63 New Zealanders are diagnosed with cancer. I’m taking part in Relay for Life 2020, an 18 hour team event raising funds to support New Zealanders affected by cancer.

I’m Sharni, like most people today, I have sadly been able to witness cancers effects on friends and family. It’s painful to see them go through this and feel so powerless and not be able to help them. So that’s why I’m participating in Relay For Life for my second year, to hopefully help in a small way.

I highly encourage you to help in a small way too! Please support my fundraising efforts by making a donation using the 'Give Now' button.

Your donation will help provide free nursing, psychology, accommodation, transport and other key services to people in our community affected by cancer. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!"

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
