Cat Wilde from Kāpiti Coast District Council has organised a Tai Chi session for next Friday 13 March at 10.00am as part of Parks Week -
Come and try it out - you don't have to have ever done it before - it is very gentle physical exercise and stretching and is well known to help with stress reduction and mindfulness, among many other benefits -
Improvement in balance too - please circulate this event to your older friends and neighbours who mightn't be on social media or who are experiencing social isolation 😊😊😊

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

UB40 Concert tonight
I have 3 tickets available to the UB40 concert tonight which we can’t attend due to 2 of the 3 ticket holders being quite sick. We are gutted as we have been waiting for this concert for 7 months. The concert is at Wiatangi Park tonight . .$150.00 for the 3 Tickets which can be picked up at Croftdon Downs by Tawa this afternoon.
