For anyone interested in the new Kāinga Ora (Housing NZ) development of 72 dwellings on Beach Haven Road, and other developments underway or planned for in Beach Haven, there is a public Q&A meeting this coming Monday 2 March from 7pm-8pm at the Beach Haven Community House (Shepherds Park).

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
