Red Cross 2020 Street Appeal

Red Cross has always been about good people doing good things. We’ve been working in New Zealand for more than a century and today, you’ll find us lending a hand our Community, New Zealand and around the world – we’re here for good!

Our Annual Street Appeal is being held in Tauranga on Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st of March and we are on the search for collectors. Just a few hours our of your day will mean all the difference to people in need.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
