Dove Hospice

Communications Manager from Dove House - Dove Hospice

Many hands make light work.

We need more volunteers for Dove House and for the Dove Hospice shops.

Our friendly Dove House kitchen needs an extra pair of helping hands, so if you like to feed people please call us or go online to our website, dovehospice.org.nz and click on volunteering. Dove House is at 207a Riddell Road, Glendowie, tel 09 575 4555.

If you love working in retail and want to become part of a team in one of our busy charity shops, then consider putting your hand up. Contact our retail office on 09 527 5064 or apply online as above.

Volunteering work has some surprising benefits, both to you and your community. For example, volunteering can:

- connect you to others

- offer benefits for mind, body and spirit

- increase your skills and provide job opportunities

- bring fun and fulfillment into your life.

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz
