Black and white cat

Andrew from Papatoetoe

Last night at around 6pm I came home and there was a black and white cat on our doorstep when I went to see if it was ok it scurried away and I noticed it had an injured left front leg it hid under my van and I could not get near it to give help so I put down some food for it and have not seen it since I got in touch with the SPCA last night as well to ask for help for this injured cat and got office closed recording then I managed to get through to a woman who said they would send out medical assistance if I could catch the cat I explained the cat was skitish and they would need a net she sthated that they do not use nets to catch cats they trap them and they do not carry traps in their abulances and that they would send someone in the morning I her to get someone to call me in the morning so that I could help but I have had no call and noone has shown up it sickens me thinking of that poor animal out there in pain suffering and the SPCA could not be bothered to render assistance the SPCA has beome a joke over the past few years if anyone out there knows where this cat is please give it help the cat was last seen in Ramsey Street .
