Coffee & Cards
It is hard to believe it has been a whole month since our first coffee & cards at The Oaks Cafe but time does fly and we are ready for another creative morning this Monday, 26th August from 9.30am. For $15 you will receive a hot beverage and I will provide everything needed to make 2 gorgeous notecards - as promised, there is a masculine themed card this time, perfectly timed for Father's Day. You can RSVP or just turn up - we'd love you to join us.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
