The Stoney Homestead Community Hub is now up and running. It is a Council owned building run by a not-for-profit Trust. The goal of the trust is to provide vibrant, workable spaces for community use & activities. Some groups that are currently running classes or workshops at the Hub are: Plunket running workshops and B4 school checks, Active Learning teaching English as a second language, Make Give Live. A social enterprise that connects, empowers and enriches the lives of people who co-create beautiful knitwear. Craft and stitching groups, English to Cantonese teaching classes, Rotary, Hartbeeps Hibiscus Coast. The hub is also available to hire for functions and small events.
