Shout out to Khana St Heliers from Dove Hospice volunteers and staff
Huge thank you to Khana, Maskell Street, St Heliers from Dove Hospice for their delicious food and great service. We provided our own serveware (= sustainable, plastic-free take-away), and they delivered a mouth-watering trio of curries, rice, breads, with a 'vege platter' for starters. With all of these ingredients plus good company and laughter, Dove House hosted a very fond community farewell last week for a beloved member of the Dove Hospice team who is moving overseas.
Khana is a word that means many things--a moment, an opportunity, place, abundance, food...
dhanyawaad/shukriya Khana. We are grateful.

Happy Tuesday neighbours, here's a riddle to get your mind going.
I am beautiful, up in the sky.
I am magical, yet I cannot fly.
To some I bring luck, and to some, I bring riches.
The boy at my end does whatever he wishes.
What am I?
