Have you seen rainbow lorikeet in your area?

Mandy Te Reporter from Western Leader

Hi neighbours, colourful birds are believed to have been released illegally in Titirangi. The Department of Conservation and the Ministry for Primary Industries are on the look out for wild rainbow lorikeet. The birds pose a threat to native birds, and the fruit and wine industries. Anyone found responsible of releasing the birds into the wild could face "heavy penalties". What do you think about this?
