Friend cheating money which he borrowed from me 6k
Dear Neighbors,
I have a issue that one of my friend borrowed 6k from me as he had a medical emergency expenses for his father. After k have the money he paid nearly 6 months as a part payment.
Now he immediately changed his phone no and addresses. Even before I went to police to make a complaint but they denied because it's civil matter. The second way I tried through the lawyer and he was replied to the letter from lawyer saying that he gonna given the money. Finally I tried through dept agency as well and he changed his address because of the agency who following him on time. Now I don't have his address or phone no. Even I have spend nearly 2000$ for all of the above ways then I felt to stop with that.
Is there is any other way to get my money back. Appreciate of you gave me a advice.
Thanks all
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
