Appeal for help to find dog after attack left woman with severe injuries
A rogue dog which attacked a woman nearly two weeks ago and left her needing hospital treatment has still not been found.
In a bid to find the dog, New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) has made a public appeal for information.
The animal is described as a large breed, with a big, but not square-shaped, head. NPDC said it was possibly a Rhodesian ridgeback or bull mastiff cross breed and was chocolate coloured, with a red tone.
Anyone with information about the dog involved in the July 9 attack in Waitara should contact NPDC on 06 759 6060 or email enquiries@npdc.govt.nz.
