We are lucky to host the SOFIA observatory in Christchurch so this might be some nostalgia from the past.
As you know it's the 50th anniversary of the mission. This link has a real-time journey through to the landing including all mission control film footage, all TV transmissions and onboard film footage, 2,000 photographs 11,000 hours of Mission Control audio, 240 hours of space-to-ground audio and a whole lot more. enjoy!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
