Local Govt Councils Cage bars may be about to be Rattled?
This is the best news, now being introduced, that has occurred , for a long long time. I paste below from a report this morning.
"NPA editorial director Rick Neville said the new reporters would be required to report solely on publicly-funded local institutions like local councils, council committees, community boards, council-owned commercial enterprises, district health boards, local trusts, publicly-owned ports and the like. "
This implementation is long over-due and obviously, someone in Govt has woken to the fact that all is not well at all, in Local Governments. Secrecy and Intrigue and behind the doors old boys clubs may now get a airing publicly, at last.
There is to be a group of specialty focused, on and Local Public or Local Govt affairs dept, reporters. Finally they will then, have a regular domain in local newspapers and radio, etc. Just maybe, some real questions will be asked and the P.R. produced vomit, that mascarades as answers, will get some sunlight!
Poll: 🤖 What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑
Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.
We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
