Parents and teachers at Nelson South Kindergarten say Kawai Street is being used as a rat run for commuters bypassing Waimea Road. With more traffic on Nelson's suburban roads than ever before, do we need more traffic-slowing measures around schools and kindergartens?

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
